Force series EE or I bond interest
If the return has a Form 1099-INT or 1099-OID, go to
Enter Form 1099-INT data
or Enter Form 1099-OID data
. Otherwise, do the following to force the series EE or I bond interest:- Open theEducationfolder.
- Select theEducatetab.
- Enter an amount in theInterest income from Series EE and I bonds (Force)field. This overrides any series EE or I interest amounts on theB&DorBrokerscreen in theInterest incomestatement.
