Enter nominee, accrued, OID, or ABP adjustments for interest
To add to the tax-exempt interest amounts, don't manually adjust the amount in the
Tax Exempt
field. Instead, do the following to enter nominee, accrued, OID, or ABP adjustments for interest.- Create a 2nd line in theInterest incomestatement.
- Enter code3,4,5, or6in theType codefield.
- Enter the adjustment as a positive amount in theInterest incomefield.
UltraTax CS calculates a subtotal for each code and reports it on Schedule B.
