Print conditions for Schedule B

To print Schedule B, at least 1 of the following will need to be included. Refer to the following for instructions on how to enter that type of item:
  • Seller-financed mortgage income
    : Enter Seller-financed mortgage income in the
    Seller-financed mortgage interest income
     field on the
    B&D
     screen in the
    Income
     folder. Complete the other columns as necessary.
  • Over $1,500 of taxable interest or dividends
    : Enter at least $1,500 of cumulative income in the
    Interest income
     and/or
    Dividend income
     statement fields on the
    B&D
     screen in the
    Income
     folder. Complete the other columns as necessary.
  • Nominee interest or dividends
    : Enter income as a nominee in the
    Interest income
     and/or
    Dividend income
     statement fields on the
    B&D
     screen in the
    Income
     folder. In the
    Type code
     column, select
    3: Nominee distribution
    . Complete the other columns as necessary.
  • Accrued interest
    : Enter accrued interest in the
    Interest income
     statement field on the
    B&D
     screen in the
    Income
     folder. In the
    Type code
     column, select
    4: Accrued interest
    . Complete the other columns as necessary.
  • Original Issue Discount (OID) adjustment
    : Enter OID adjustments in the
    Interest income
     statement field on the
    B&D
     screen in the
    Income
     folder. In the
    Type code
     column, select
    5: Original Issue Discount (OID) adjustment
    . Complete the other columns as necessary.
  • Amortizable Bond Premium (ABP) adjustment
    : Enter ABP adjustments in the
    Interest income
     statement field on the
    B&D
     screen in the
    Income
     folder. In the
    Type code
     column, select
    6: Amortizable Bond Premium adjustment
    . Complete the other columns as necessary.
  • An exclusion of interest from series EE or I U.S. savings bonds issued after 1989
    : Enter series EE and I bonds in the
    Interest income
     statement field on the
    B&D
     screen in the
    Income
     folder. In the
    Type code
     column, select
    7: Series EE and I bonds eligible for Form 8815
    . Complete the other columns as necessary.

To always print Schedule B regardless of these conditions, select
Setup
,
1040 Individual
,
Tax Return
,
Schedule B
 in the return collation you want, then select
Always if data
