Report tax-exempt interest on Schedule B

Follow these steps to report tax-exempt interest on Schedule B.
note
The IRS doesn't need you to report tax-exempt interest separately on Schedule B.
  1. Select
    Setup
    ,
    1040 Individual
    ,
    Other Return Options
    , then the
    Return Presentation
     tab.
  2. Mark the
    Print tax-exempt interest and dividends on Schedule B
     checkbox.
