If the Foreign Tax Credit is from interest or dividend income, verify the foreign country or possession code/name
is entered on the

B&D

screen in the Income
folder.

If the Foreign Tax Credit is present on the return but Form 1116 isn't generating, verify the following:

Clear the Elect exemption from foreign tax credit limitation
checkbox on the

B&D

screen in the Income
folder.

Clear the Report all foreign tax on Schedule A
checkbox on the

Cr

screen in the Credits
folder.
