Print Form 8879
You can print Form 8879, IRS e-file Signature Authorization, before entering the taxpayer and spouse personal identification numbers (PINs). This is useful if you want to mail this form to your client to enter the PIN and the taxpayer and spouse signatures before entering the PIN. To print this form, enter

field in the PIN screen of the Electronic Filing folder.If the
PIN authorization indicator
on the PIN screen indicates the Electronic Return Originator (ERO) entered the PINs on behalf of the taxpayers, Form 8879 (or Form 8878) will print.The IRS doesn't need Form 8879 (or Form 8878) when a taxpayer enters their Self-Select PIN, and the form doesn't print.
