Enter marginal oil production percentage depletion rates

To enter marginal oil production percentage depletion rates:
  1. Select
    Setup
    ,
    1040 Individual
    .
  2. Select
    Other Return Options
    .
  3. Select the
    Other
     tab and enter a rate in the
    Depletion: Marginal oil production percentage depletion rate
     field. If you don't enter a rate in this field, the system uses the current IRS depletion rate for oil and gas properties.
