Resolve critical errors when merging clients
You should address critical error messages before you proceed with the merged client. Warning messages are generally informational and may not require additional action.
- SelectPrint, or save the list of critical errors and warnings.
- Go to theMerge Client Data Resultswindow and selectCancelto stop creating new joint client.
- SelectOK.
- Open the taxpayer or spouse file.
- Correct the critical errors, then close the client.
- Return to the beginning and try to create the file again.
