Enter a nondeductible contribution to a traditional IRA

  1. On the
    IRA
     window in the
    Retirement
     folder, enter the amount of the contribution in the
    Total traditional IRA contribution
     field.
  2. Enter the nondeductible contributions in the
    Designated nondeductible contributions (Force)
     field.
  3. If this is not a first-year nondeductible contribution, enter your client's traditional IRA basis in the
    Traditional IRA basis
     field.
