Enter qualified disaster distributions
Use these steps to enter qualified disaster distributions.
- Go to theRetirementfolder.
- Select the1099Rscreen.
- Enter the distribution information as reported on Form 1099-R.
- Go to the1099R-3screen.
- Scroll down to theQualified Disaster (or COVID-19) Distribution and Repaymentssection.
- Fill out these fields.
- Year of qualified disaster
- Disaster Name
- Date of distribution
- Qualified distribution amount

The rest of the fields in the
Qualified Disaster (or COVID-19) Distribution and Repayments
section are optional, depending on how you want the distribution reported.
