Use this section to enter the innocent spouse's current financial situation for Form 8857, Part IV.
List of Assets (money or property)
Enter all assets that the innocent spouse owned, but do not list assets transferred from the other spouse that are already included on line 19. Assets include money, real estate, stocks, bonds, or other property to which a title is held. Include the amount of cash on hand and in a bank account.
Innocent spouse's current average monthly income...
Include any amount of support or gifts from family and friends.
Other Income
Other income includes disability payments, gambling winnings, et cetera.
Innocent spouse's current average monthly expenses...
Include any expenses paid with income from gifts.
Court-ordered debt payments
Court-ordered debt payments include child support, alimony, garnishments, et cetera.
Miscellaneous
If more than one item is entered, the list prints in a statement.
