Exclude Schedule C or F income from self-employment tax

When income from Schedule C or F isn't self-employment income, follow these steps to indicate that it's not subject to self-employment tax.

Go to the

screen.

Enter

in Self-employment code
.

Go to the

screen.

Mark the Exclude farm income from self-employment tax
checkbox.

Taxable income from these activities won't be subject to self-employment tax.
