Overview

Use this screen to complete Alabama Schedule A, Form 4952A, and Form NOL-85. In most cases, the Schedule A amounts defaults to the amounts from the federal return. Amounts from the federal return are transferred to the statement windows in this screen. The statement windows in this screen include a
Resident Schedule A Amount
column and a
Part-Year Schedule A Amount
column; the amounts that appear in each are determined by the
Postal code
entry in the federal
A
screen. The resident column includes items with all postal codes, including blank. The part-year resident column includes only amounts with an
AL
postal code. Residency status determines which total is used on Form 40, Schedule A. Use the
Force
column to add or modify any item in the statement window.
