Overview
Use this screen to enter the general, representative, and tax matters information to complete the state power of attorney. If the federal POA Screen is completed, UltraTax CS transfers the federal representative data from the federal POA Screen to this screen. Transferred data may be changed, as needed. Enter data in the Tax Matters Information section in this screen to generate the state power of attorney form.
General Information
Taxpayer, spouse, or joint
Enter the applicable letter to indicate the person(s) for whom the power of attorney applies. UltraTax CS defaults to the federal power of attorney choice if no selection is made.
Representative Information
Use this section to enter representative information if different from the federal POA Screen. These fields can be overridden on a field-by-field basis.
Tax Matters Information
Use this section to enter the type of tax, year or period, and any other additions or deletions to authorized acts for which the designated representative has authority. Tax Matters Information is required to generate Power of Attorney form.
