Overview
Use this screen to complete Form N-814, Parent’s Election to Report Child’s Interest and Dividends, if the taxpayer has elected to report the child’s income on the parent’s return. This input screen provides fields for five children; UltraTax CS prints a separate Form N-814 for each child. Information transfers to this screen from the federal
8814
screen regardless of the age of the child. Form N-814 is generated only for children under 14 years of age. If a federal Form 8814 is not calculated and the parent chooses to report the child’s income on the parent’s Hawaii return only, all relevant fields in the N814
