Overview

Information entered on the
MJCGen
screen is used to calculate all of the currently integrated Michigan City returns. UltraTax/1040-MI Cities let you to process up to 24 city returns at 1 time.

General information

Actual addresses where taxpayer lived
Enter the address where the taxpayer actually lives. This information prints on Form CF-1040, Page 2 or as a statement for the city return. This may be required for taxpayers who use a post office box as a mailing address.

Income

Use the statement windows in this section to indicate the portion of the transferred federal amounts relevant to each integrated city return. The following explanation of single city and multiple city processings applies to both the Additional Income and Deductions sections in this screen.
UltraTax CS treats all income and deductions as taxable and deductible on Michigan City resident returns. Enter ZIP Codes for income and deductions to transfer to Michigan City nonresident returns.
If you are processing only 1 resident city return for the current client, you may leave the

City Taxable Amount
column should be used if the amount transferred from UltraTax/1040 doesn't apply to that particular city. If a transferred income item applies to more than one integrated city return, a duplicate line entry should be made, so that a different city code can be entered in each line.
