Overview
Use this screen to enter the general, representative / appointee, and tax matters information for the designation of a representative for specific tax matters and/or to revoke a designation. When a federal power of attorney has been completed, UltraTax CS defaults to the federal entries for fields identified as force fields.
General Information
Taxpayer, spouse, or joint
Enter the applicable letter to indicate the person(s) for whom the power of attorney applies. UltraTax CS defaults to the federal power of attorney choice if no selection is made.
Representative Information
Use this section to enter representative information if different from federal POA Screen. The fields can be overridden on a field-by-field basis.
Tax Matters Information
Use this section to enter the type of tax, tax form number, year or period, specific tax matters or other additions or deletions to authorized acts for which the designated representative has authority.
