Expenses

Taxes
If you entered a business use percentage directly in the
Taxes
field in the federal Rent screen without using the statement window, that percentage doesn't transfer to the city return. Enter that percentage in the attached statement window.

Allocation

Use this section to allocate the portion of business income derived from a Kansas City source. Complete only if the filer is a nonresident who derives profits from an unincorporated business activity that conducts business or performs services both inside and outside the city. These amounts are used to complete Form RD-108B, Schedule Y. When any one activity is allocated, all activities are reported on a separate Form RD-108B.
note
When more than one Form RD-108B is included in a return, the income from the first unit transfers to Form 108, line 4, and the form is included in the electronic file. All subsequent versions of Form RD-108B transfer income to Form 108, line 5, and must be attached as a PDF to the electronic file. A diagnostic message displays when an attachment is required.
