Explanation of changes
In the statement window, enter an explanation of changes to income or exemptions to accompany Form BET or Form NH-1040.
Balance due or refund on original return
Enter the amount paid with the original return plus any additional amount paid after it was filed or the refund from the original return. Enter balance due amounts as a positive number and refund as a negative number.
Payment made with the original return, plus any additional amounts paid, and refund from the original return are included on the return as "Paid with original return (Amended returns only)" with refunds listed as negative amounts.
