Suppress printing Form 8879
New Jersey doesn't require you to sign Form NJ-8879, but it's available if you want it for your records.
Do the following to suppress printing Form NJ-8879:
- To suppress printing the form globally, selectSetup,1040 Individual, theNew Jerseytab,Other Return Options, then mark theSuppress printing of NJ-8879 E-file Signature Authorizationcheckbox.
- To suppress printing the form on a client-by-client basis, mark theSuppress printing of NJ-8879checkbox on theNJELFscreen in theElectronic filingfolder.
