Generate Form IT204-LL Limited Liability Company Filing Fee Payment Form

New York mandates that you electronically file Form IT-204-LL, Limited Liability Company, Filing Fee Payment Form. You'll need to generate Form IT-204-LL first, before e-filing it.
  1. Select
    File
    , then
    Client Properties
    .
  2. Select the
    New York
     tab.
  3. Mark the
    New York LLC Form IT-204-LL NY
     checkbox.
    note
    This will enable a fully calculating return, extension and filing instructions.
  4. To create an LLC unit, enter the code
    2 - Form IT-204-LL
     in
    State use code
     in the corresponding federal activity on the
    C
    ,
    Rent
    ,
    F
    ,
    4835
    , or
    K1
     screen.
  5. Use the
    NYLLC
     screen to complete any additional data entry.
  6. If there's no associated federal activity, mark the
    Create an LLC with no federal activity
     checkbox on the
    NYLLC
     screen in the
    IT-204LL
     folder.
    note
    You'll need to complete the data entry on this screen and the NYLLCElf screen.
You can now e-file Form IT-2040-LL.
