Use this screen to complete Forms IT-604 and IT-606, Sections 1 and 2. If information transferred from UltraTax/1040 doesn't require additional data or coding, UltraTax/1040-NY shows it on the form only, not in the screen.
Employment Tests for Forms IT-604 and IT-606
UltraTax CS uses the information in this section to complete employment portions of Forms IT-604, Section 1 or 2, and IT-606.
Unit / Form / Activity
Entries in these fields are used to gather and coordinate information to calculate Forms IT-603, IT-604, IT-605, and IT-606.
Current year within zone
Enter number of employees employed within the empire zone. In the Date column, enter the year ending date. Enter the number of employees employed in the March, June, Sept, and Dec columns. For employee averaging on Forms IT-604, and IT-606, a value of
0
(zero) employees may be entered in any field. A 0
(zero) indicates that the quarter should be counted when averaging number of employees for any particular year. A blank field isn't considered for averaging purposes. See form instructions for more information.Note that date fields are only used for Forms IT 604 and IT-606. Enter the date in
