Overview

Use this screen to complete the Central Collection Agency (CCA) Municipal Income Tax Return form.

Use this section to enter general information to complete the CCA return.
General footnote

Use this section to enter adjustments to income and withholding.
Net operating loss carryforward
This statement is used to complete the CCA Net Operating Loss Worksheet and Schedule L. Enter the code of the city that is recognizing the loss, the year of loss, and the amount of unused net operating loss from a previous year as a positive amount. The Worksheet calculates the amount of loss carryforward to be utilized against the current year income; use the
Force
field to utilize a smaller amount. Unused losses are carried forward to the extent enabled by the city.
Losses from pass-through entities require further identification; select
K-1
for partnerships and subchapter S corporations or
K-1T
for trusts and estates, and the activity unit number from the
OJCK1
or
OJCK1T
screen. The number of years for which a net operating loss from 2016 and earlier can be carried forward can be modified in the

Resident tax withheld (Force)
Enter the amount of CCA residence tax withheld, if different from the calculated amount, in order to complete Form 120-16-IR, Section B.

Use this section to indicate how to apply any resident overpayment for the current year.

The default is to refund any overpayment. Select a different option to calculate next year's estimated resident tax and apply some or all of the overpayment to that estimate.
