F37-120 e-file error
Incorrect Data: Full Year residence cannot have a NON-RITA city, village or township in the Residence section with an effective date that is less than 12/31 of the filing tax year. (rule F37-120).
You might get this error because of missing residency information or a missing city code.
Solution
- Go to the Ohio City input.
- Select the General folder, then theCGentab.
- Review the residency information entered in the Residency section and correct any errors.
- If you made any corrections, recreate and retransmit the e-file.
- If the information entered in this screen is correct, either contact the Ohio Cities taxing agency, or file the return on paper.
