Overview
Use this screen to enter information required to complete Form 1310 for Virginia. Information transfers from the federal Screen 1310 and may be changed or entered directly here as needed. The form is printed when all of the following are true:
- the Virginia return is using a married filing joint filing status,
- the return claims a refund,
- either or both taxpayers have a date of death entered on federal Screen 1040, and
- any data is entered on this screen other than a D in thePerson claiming refundfield.
When printed, this form is automatically included as a PDF attachment in electronically filed returns. A death certificate may also be attached to electronic files by selection
