Enter withholding reported on Form NRSR
Complete the following to mark the West Virginia IT-140 Line 14 box to indicate that withholding is from West Virginia Form NRSR, Nonresident Sale of Real Estate:
- Go to the federalAscreen in the Itemized Deductions folder.
- In the State and local income tax section, enter code3for real estate withholding.
- Enter the amount withheld in theAmountfield, and selectWVfrom the State dropdown list.
- Attach Form NRSR to the WV return via the electronic filing attachment utility and select the attachment titleNRW2from the pre-defined list.noteFederal Schedule D, which reports the real property sale, is also required to be included with the return; when IT-140 is filed electronically, Schedule D is automatically attached.
