F5227-006 e-file error

Missing Data: /Return/ReturnData/IRS5227/ChrtblRemainderUnitrustInd: If Form 5227, [ 'ChrtblRemainderAnnuityTrustInd' or 'ChrtblRemainderUnitrustInd' ] is checked and 'FinalReturnInd' is not checked and 'SplitIntTrIncmIntExprBfrCYInd' is not checked, then each of the following must have a value on Form 5227, Schedule A: 'TotalDistributableIncomeGrp' and 'Sect664TrCurrentDistriSchGrp' and 'Sect664TrAssetsDonorGrp'. (value X, rule F5227-006-01)
This happens when asset and donor information isn't entered for the Charitable Remainder Unitrust.

Solution

  1. Go to the
    SIT-3
     screen in the
    Split-Interest
     folder.
  2. Open the
    Assets and donor information
     statement.
  3. Complete the fields in the statement. If there were no donations, only complete the
    Donor's Name
     and
    Address
    .
  4. Recreate and resubmit the electronic file.
