Allocate estimated tax payments to beneficiaries equally
You can allocate estimated tax payments equally or to specific beneficiaries using different percentages. Do the following to allocate them equally.
- Open thePayExt (federal)orStPmt (state)screen in the federalPaymentsfolder.
- Enter the estimated payments.
- For state estimates, enter or verify the state ZIP Code.
- Choose how to allocate payments:
- To allocate all estimated payments paid as of the 4th payment due date, mark theAllocate payments to beneficiaries: Allocate 100%checkbox.
- To allocate a portion of the payments to beneficiaries, enter a dollar amount inAllocate payments to beneficiaries: Amount to allocate, if not 100%.
