Enter income from a private activity bond
Follow these steps to enter income from a private activity bond.
- Open 1 of the following screens:
- Income
- Broker
- K-1
- K-1-T
- Open the statement window for theInterest incomefield or theDividendsfield.
- Enter the total tax-exempt amount in theTax-Exempt Amountfield. This includes income attributable to private activity bonds issued after August 7, 1986.
- Enter the portion attributable to the private activity bond in thePrivate Act Bondfield. Private activity bond amounts are used only for Schedule I calculations.
