Custom Paragraphs
Create custom paragraphs by choosing Setup, 1041 Fiduciary, New York tab, then Filing Instructions, Instructions Insert, or Letter Insert button as applicable, then select the Custom Paragraphs tab. If you selected a custom paragraph globally, it does not appear in the list of paragraphs available.
Number
Select a paragraph number from the
Number
field that corresponds to the custom paragraph you want to use for this client. Up to five custom paragraphs print in the client documents. The Description
field displays the title of the selected paragraph.Elections
Create election statements by choosing Setup, 1041 Fiduciary, New York tab, then Tax Elections. UltraTax CS provides a blank election statement which you can customize, as many times as necessary, for specific needs.
Number
Enter or select the election number that corresponds to the election statement required for this client. Up to three election statements print with the return. The
Description
field displays the title of the selected paragraph.
