Withholding options
To view the withholding options, including exemption information and a force for the nonresident withholding amount, select
View
, Beneficiary Information
, then the Oklahoma
tab. Use the OKWEst screen for estimates for the nonresident withholding (WTP10005). Use the OKWPay screen for late penalties and late interest (OW-9-P). Forms WTP10003, 501 and non-calculating forms OW-11 and OW-15-A are also related to withholding or exemption from withholding.Allocation

tab, the withholding allocated to the beneficiary displays on Schedule K-1, line 12, not on withholding form 500-B. You need to enter an amount to allocate in Allocable withholding
on the OKPay screen. The amount entered is deducted from the main form and allocated in full to the beneficiaries based on those WH% entered. If you enter less than 100%, the amounts are grossed.Estates
Per the instructions, withholding doesn't calculate on Estates (entity = D), or for beneficiaries of other trusts designated as type A or O in

checkbox on the OKWPay screen to force the calculation.Form 500-B
Withholding on income distributed calculates based on the OK income on the K-1. The withholding amount displays on the withholding form 500-B for the beneficiary, not on the K-1. Amounts you enter in

tab will override these calculations.WTP10003
- You can't apply allocated withholding to the WTP10003 withholding liability.
- The WTP10003 allows for estimated payments applied only. Enter them in the federal StPmt screen with theOKpostal code and type code2.
- The WTP10003 doesn't allow for refunds or overpayments applied to following year estimates.
If the estimated payments were made in excess of the actual amounts needed for withholding, you can force the withholding in

tab. Forcing a withholding amount triggers the following:- Sum the WTP10003 as the total tax withheld
- Adjust the amount of income on the WTP backwards so the math works to 5%
- Adjust the income on the 500B for the beneficiary
- Trigger a diagnostic stating the income may not match the K-1s
