Enter a withholding form code
Use the Withholding form field to determine whether to calculate Form I-41.
- SelectView,Beneficiary Information, then theSouth Carolinatab.
- Enter 1 of the following in theWithholding formfield:
- Code1: Form I-41 will calculate if the beneficiary is a nonresident.noteUpon proforma of the client, the code will automatically change to code 2, indicating that the Form I-41 is already on file for the beneficiary. Per the instructions, the beneficiary only needs to file Form I-41 once.
- Code2: Firm I-41, SC41, and WH won't calculate.
