FBAR-G43 error code
Error Code FBAR-G43: Account type "Other" description is blank.
Solution
To resolve this error, go to
Screen FrgnAcct
in the Foreign Bank & Asset folder and complete Type of account
. If left blank, it is assumed the type of account is Other and a description is required.If there are multiple bank accounts review each unit of Screen FrgnAcct and check
Type of account
. If the bank account is not being used, either delete the screen or enter 4 = Do not report on any form, keep for proforma
in the Report account on Form(s)
field.
