Individuals last name is required
Last name is required for Entity Joint Owners
These errors occur due to data entry on the FrgnAcct screen, in the Foreign Bank and Asset folder.
Solution
- Review the Information reported for financial account: field on all units of the FrgnAcct screen. If there are any blank units of the FrgnAcct screen, delete the screen data.
- If3=Part III, Owned jointlyis selected on any unit, either selectAccount jointly owned with spouseif the account is owned with the spouse, or complete the fields under Parts III and IV to report the joint owner on Form 114 part III.
- If4=Part IV, Authority but no financial interestis selected, complete the fields under Parts III and IV to report the account owner on Form 114, part IV.

If there are unnecessary spaces in the
Principle account holder/joint owner
or First name and middle initial of account holder/joint owner
fields, remove them.
