Use the advanced allocation scheme
Use the advanced allocation scheme to select multiple columns for the allocation (for example, to use both an absolute dollar and a percentage column). You can add various combinations of allocation schemes using up to 6 allocation components with the following limitations.
- No more than 2 Absolute dollar components can be added.
- No more than 2 Percentage components (Percentage, % - Custom, Profit, Loss, or Ownership capital) can be added when not adding a Unit component. Only 1 Percentage component can be added when also adding a Unit component. When not also using a unit component, the last percentage component in the scheme will need to total 100 percent.
- Units will always allocate 100% of the remaining balance to be allocated. Therefore, when used, Units should always be the last column in an advanced scheme.
- The Greater Of component counts as 2 components. When using the Greater Of component, a Percentage or Unit component should also be added to allocate the remaining amounts.
