Microsoft Excel Export/Import utility for apportionment information

You can quickly and efficiently export and import apportionment information to and from UltraTax CS/1065 and a Microsoft Excel workbook.
When you export apportionment information from UltraTax CS/1065, the
Excel Export/Import utility
creates Excel worksheets for Property, Payroll, and Sales as follows:
  • Apport Info Property
    : This worksheet contains information to complete the property information in the
    Apportionment Information
    window.
  • Apport Info Payroll
    : This worksheet contains information to complete the payroll information in the
    Apportionment Information
    window.
  • Apport Info Sales
    : This worksheet contains information to complete the sales information in the
    Apportionment Information
    window.
The table shows the information in the UltraTax CS/1065 Apportionment Information Spreadsheet that exports to Excel and the Excel worksheet that contains the corresponding information for import into UltraTax CS/1065.

    Excel Export/Import utility
    doesn't import or export information from the state tabs or statement windows in the Apportionment Information window.
  • The
    Excel Export/Import utility
    doesn't import year-end property amounts for depreciable property when you use detailed asset data entry to classify assets for apportionment.
  • You can import information into statement windows from Excel or the Windows clipboard.
