Open a 1065 client and select File
, then Client Properties

In the 1065
dropdown, select Foreign Ptnrshp (8865)
.

A prompt displays a message that states aren't allowed with this entity.

Select Yes
if you want to remove the states and make changes to the return. If you select No
, nothing happens.
