Add aggregate QBI activities
Use the following information when adding an aggregate QBI group:
- On the QBI screen or the K1QBI screen, in the Aggregation Group data section, enter a description and a unique aggregate group number. You can enter the combo and save it as a multi-field custom view.
- QBI activities that share the same aggregation group number will be reported as a single QBI activity on the Section 199A Information Worksheet and the Partner’s Section 199A Information Worksheet.
- Section 199A Information Detail Worksheet will also generate without aggregate grouping.
- Statement entered as description and explanation for the QBI aggregate group, along with changes to the aggregation, will print and be included in the partner’s schedule K-1 package.

When a QBI activity is either a specified service trade or business or from a publicly traded partnership, you can't include it in an aggregate QBI group.
