Partner Data Entry > Find Partner dialog

Use this window to find partners in the
Partner Data Entry
 windows using last name, first name, SSN (Social Security number), EIN (Employer Identification Number), or any combination of these criteria.
To open the
Find Partner
 window, select
Find Partner
 on the
Partner Data Entry
 toolbar, or select
Tasks
, then
Find Partner
 in the
Partner Data Entry
 menu.

Fields and buttons

Search criteria group box
Last name
To use a last name to search partners, select the last name from the dropdown list or enter any portion of the partner's last name. UltraTax CS searches
Last name
 of all partners in the
Partner
 tab in the
Partner Information
 window and finds partners that match the entered criteria.
First name
To use a first name to search partners, select the first name from the dropdown list or enter any portion of the partner's first name. UltraTax CS searches
First name
 of all partners in the
Partner
 tab in the
Partner Information
 window and finds partners that match the entered criteria.
SSN / EIN
To use an SSN or EIN to search partners, enter any portion of the partner's SSN or EIN. UltraTax CS searches
SSN / EIN
 of all partners in the
Partner
 tab in the
Partner Information
 window and finds partners that match the entered criteria.
Find Next
Select this button to search partners based on the criteria you enter in
Last name
 ,
First name
, and/or
SSN / EIN
. UltraTax CS returns you to the first partner that meets the entered criteria. Continue to select
Find Next
 to find additional qualifying partners.
Clear Fields
Select this button to remove entries in
Last name
,
First name
 , and
SSN / EIN
.
Go To criteria group box
Partner number
Enter the partner number, and select
Go To Partner
. UltraTax CS takes you to the partner.
Go To Partner
Select this button to go to the partner designated in
Partner number
.
