Use this screen to enter information for Forms 6767, 8820 and 8826.

Form 6765 - Credit for Increasing Research Activities

Use the
CrGen
screen in the
Credits
folder to enter additional information for Form 6765, such as to elect the alternate simplified method. Enter information for Form 6765, Credit for Increasing Research Activities for each activity on a separate screen. Form 6765 includes the sum of all units and transfers the net credit for increasing research activities to Schedule K.
Form 6765 credit to reduce other deductions / expenses (Force)
Unless you select
Elect reduced credit under section 280C
on the
CrGen
screen in the
Credits
folder, the application reduces other deductions / expenses of the associating activity by the amount of credit (before the reduction for elected payroll tax credit) the associating activity generated. Enter an amount in this field, including
0
(zero), to use a different adjustment amount. The reduction is limited to the lesser of the amount you entered in this field or the maximum credit adjustment. a Schedule M-1 or Schedule M-3 reconciling adjustment generates for the total amount of the tax credit adjustment from all activities.

To allocate the tax credit adjustment to partners using ratios different from the profit-sharing percentages, select

screen (for Schedule M-1 reconciling adjustments) or the

Form 8820 - Orphan Drug Credit

Use the
CrGen
screen in the
Credits
folder to enter elect the reduced credit under section 280C and to enter deductions and capitalized expenses reduced by the credit.
Qualified clinical testing expenses
Enter information for Form 8820, Orphan drug credit for each activity on a separate screen. Form 8820 includes the sum of all units and transfers the net orphan drug credit to Schedule K.

Unless you select
Elect reduced credit under section 280C

screen in the
Credits
folder, the application reduces other deductions / expenses of the associating activity by the amount of credit the associating activity generated. Enter an amount in this field, including

Form 8826 - Disabled Access Credit

Eligible access expenditures
Enter the eligible access expenditures for each activity on a separate screen. Form 8826 includes the sum of all units and transfers the net disabled access credit to Schedule K.
