Business rules and resolutions
Review the following table to learn how to address specific Massachusetts electronic filing business rules. There may be more than one reason that a specific business rule generates.

Description of Business Rule X0000-001: Missing EIN. Resolution: Verify the firm's EIN is entered under Setup , System Configuration , then Firm as it is required. If the firm doesn't have an EIN, the preparer that is selected within File , then Client Properties must have an SSN entered within Setup , Office Configuration , then Preparers . |
