F5472-003 e-file error

If Form 5472 'RelatedPartyName' has an entry, then the corresponding 'SSN' or 'EIN', or 'ForeignEntityReferenceIdNum' must have a value.
This error happens when Form 5472 is missing a SSN, EIN, or ID number.

Solution

  1. Go to the
    5472 input
     folder.
  2. Open the 5472-2 screen. If there is a
    Related party name
     entered, there must also be a Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN) entered in the
    US identifying number
     field.
    note
    If
    Applied For
     or
    ForeignUS
     is being used in place of the SSN or EIN, a
    Reference ID number
     must also be entered.
