R0000-903-01 e-file error
Taxpayer TIN in the Return Header must not be the same as a TIN of a previously accepted paper return for the return type and tax period indicated in the tax return.
You get this error when a return has already been filed and accepted with this TIN.
Solution
- Open the return.
- SelectFile, thenClient Properties.
- Make sure the EIN/SSN is correct.
- If this is an amended or superseded return, make sure data entry is correct.
- If it's correct, contact the IRS e-help Desk at is 866-255-0654. You'll likely need to paper file.
