The XML data has failed schema validation.

This error can happen when the return doesn't conform to the IRS specifications for electronic filing.

Make sure that there are no critical diagnostic messages.

If using Practitioner PIN
, the ERO and Taxpayer PIN numbers in the

ELF

screen will need to be 5 numeric characters (other than 00000
).

Check for statements that have a description and no amount, or an amount without a corresponding description.

Check for statements that have a blank line item.
