Classify the city to transfer assets for apportionment

Follow these steps to classify the city to transfer assets to for apportionment.

Select the Asset
tab in the federal activity.

Select Setup
, then Associations
.

Select the City - XX
association where you want to transfer assets, then OK
.

XX
is the city's state ZIP Code. Mark the City - XX
checkbox for all states with an attached city return.

The City - XX
association is automatically available for all clients with at least 1 attached city return.

Select the asset you want to classify, then Modify
.

Select the city from the City - XX
dropdown. This field may appear in the

Asset Detail

window, or in the Other
tab.

Select Done
.
