Add companies to an existing C or S Corporation consolidated return
Follow these steps to add companies to an existing C or S Corporation consolidated return.
- SelectFile, thenClient Properties.
- SelectAdvanced Properties.
- Select theGrouptab.
- To add an eliminations company for the consolidated return, select the company name in the Clients available list, thenSelect Eliminations.noteIncluding an eliminations company in a consolidated group is optional.
- To add a subsidiary company for the consolidated return, select the company name in the Clients available list, thenSelect Subsidiary. Add more subsidiary companies as needed.noteIf you have a C Corporation that's a subsidiary company (QSSS), you'll need to clone the client, change the client to an S Corporation, and make any necessary data entry in the S Corporation input screens.
- SelectOKto close the Advanced Properties window.
- SelectOKagain to close the New Client or Client Properties window.
