Add companies to an existing C or S Corporation consolidated return

Follow these steps to add companies to an existing C or S Corporation consolidated return.
  1. Select
    File
    , then
    Client Properties
    .
  2. Select
    Advanced Properties
    .
  3. Select the
    Group
    tab.
  4. To add an eliminations company for the consolidated return, select the company name in the Clients available list, then
    Select Eliminations
    .
    note
    Including an eliminations company in a consolidated group is optional.
  5. To add a subsidiary company for the consolidated return, select the company name in the Clients available list, then
    Select Subsidiary
    . Add more subsidiary companies as needed.
    note
    If you have a C Corporation that's a subsidiary company (QSSS), you'll need to clone the client, change the client to an S Corporation, and make any necessary data entry in the S Corporation input screens.
  6. Select
    OK
    to close the Advanced Properties window.
  7. Select
    OK
    again to close the New Client or Client Properties window.
