E-file a consolidated C Corporation extension
Follow these steps to print or e-file a consolidated C Corporation extension.
- Open the consolidated return.
- Clear all diagnostic messages related to demographic information or to the extension.noteUse CTRL + D to view diagnostics.
- SelectFile,Print Extensions, and mark theCreate electronic filecheckbox.
- SelectE-File.note
- When you process a consolidated C Corporation extension, you don't need to select the member clients' returns viaFile,Print Extensionsas you would for a consolidated return. Instead, after you complete the data entry for each member, open the consolidated return and follow the previous steps.
- Consolidated C Corporation clients file a Consolidated Group Statement Worksheet with the extension. The worksheet includes all members of the consolidated return.
