The IRS didn't withdraw an Electronic Funds Withdrawal (EFW) payment
The IRS is responsible for withdrawing electronic funds withdrawal (EFW) payments. If the IRS didn't withdraw an EFW payment, check the e-file and review the EFW information included.
If the e-file includes the EFW information, contact the IRS for more information on why the payment wasn't withdrawn. If the e-file doesn't include the EFW information, data entry was missing when the e-file was created. Review the data entry requirements. Also, compare the e-file creation date and the most recent date that the e-file was edited. Information added after the e-file was created isn't included.
