Do the following to enter shareholder information needed for Form 2553 for a C Corporation electing S Corporation status.

Select File
, then Open Client
to open the C Corporation.

Select the Elections
folder in the folders block.

Select the 2553
tab, and enter the information to complete Form 2553, Election by a Small Business Corporation.

Complete the Election to be effective for tax years beginning
field to print Form 2553.

Select Shareholder Info
in the

2553

screen.

Enter the shareholder's name, address, and SSN or EIN in the Shareholder
tab.

Select the 2553
tab.

Enter the information to complete the shareholder consent.
