Print Form 2553 separately
If you weren't able to file Form 2553 on time and you want to print the form separately from the Form 1120-S, do the following steps.
- Enter code2in theFile Form 2553 as an attachment to Form 1120-Sfield in the2553screen.
- Enter a date in theElection to be effective for tax years beginningfield and a reason for filing the form late in theReason for failing to file election by due datefield in the2553screen.
UltraTax CS prints the reason for filing the form late on Form 2553, Page 1. Form 2553 and the filing instructions will print separately from the main tax return.
